GET TO KNOW ME!
Hey, I’m Allison
I am your Holistic Nutritionist!
My journey into health and wellness began long before I ever became a holistic nutritionist. In high school, I worked in a health food store while quietly struggling with disordered eating and my relationship with my self image. Even then, I felt drawn to food and wellness—but I didn’t yet understand how deeply connected our physical and emotional health truly are.
In my final year of high school, I experienced a severe concussion that shifted everything. I began struggling with anxiety, depression, digestive issues, and chronic migraines- which I still experience and continue to manage today. After high school, I went on the birth control pill for a year, which was the start to my struggle with acne. After coming off the pill, I dealt with ongoing hormonal imbalances, candida, and skin issues that felt frustrating and overwhelming.
At 21, this journey led me to the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (CSNN), where I became a holistic nutritionist. I didn’t just want symptom relief, I wanted to understand why my body was struggling and how to truly support it. Through learning how to heal my gut, nourish my body with whole foods, and build supportive eating habits, I experienced profound shifts in my health. Just as importantly, I went through major mindset changes that transformed how I cared for myself.
Looking back, it’s bittersweet to realize how necessary these experiences were in shaping who I am today. They taught me patience, self-trust, and the power of committing to your health—even when the process takes time. That’s why I’m so passionate about supporting others on this journey. Healing isn’t always linear, but it is always worth it.
